Edward Reynado, assistant lodging manager of the MacDilll Inn located in Tampa, Florida, was selected to present his proposal to AH&LA’s board of directors during the AH&LA Fall Conference, November 9, 2008. His proposal outlined a clear and comprehensive strategy for working with universities to boost student membership and help AH&LA tap into the 50,000-strong pool of hospitality students in the U.S. and build the association’s brand recognition and loyalty at an early age.
His proposal has been implemented into AH&LA’s 2009 business plan. AH&LA staff is currently working to implement Edward's plan at four pilot colleges, Florida International University, Oklahoma State, Penn State, and San Diego State University.
Edward is a member of AH&LA's Under 30 Council. Click here to read his short bio on the Council Webpage.
