The AH&LA Stars of the Industry awards program was created more than 40 years ago to recognize outstanding accomplishments in the lodging industry.
While the categories have evolved over the years, the concept is still the same —
to honor lodging employees and properties that best symbolize the quality service of the industry.
Many of AH&LA's partner state associations also recognize their state's best and brightest stars on the local level.
These state winners will be considered for the national honor, and applications will only be accepted if submitted by the state association. If your partner state association has a program, your entries must be submitted through them.
Some partner states offer award programs that correspond with only some national honors. See below to determine if your state has a Stars of the Industry awards program, and to see how you can apply for each AH&LA national honor.
