AH&LA Legislative Action Summit
March 15-16, 2010
225 lodging industry leaders and hoteliers from 35 states participated in this wonderfully successful event. Over 200 Congressional offices were visited, where members were able to educate lawmakers and staff about our industry's position on the occupancy tax issue, card check, and healthcare. We also thanked a lot of members of Congress for their support on the Travel Promotion Act.
AH&LA thanks the many industry members who took time out of their busy schedules to travel to Washington and make a real difference for their industry. Each visit to a Congressional office delivered our message of hospitality and the promise of economic growth.
