The 2005 restructuring of AH&LA from a federation to a dual membership association created a membership category for hotel companies, management companies, and multiunit owners to become members at no cost, based on the membership of their individual properties through partner state associations.
AH&LA uses a sliding scale to determine the minimum membership criteria for complimentary corporate membership, with percentages of individual property commitment ranging from 40 to 75 percent annually. You may already qualify for a complimentary corporate membership!
- For multiunit owned and/or managed companies with one to five properties, there must be participation of 75 percent of properties.
- For companies with six to 10 properties, there must be participation of 50 percent of properties.
- For companies with 11 or more properties, there must be participation of 40 percent of properties.
