HTNG Next Generation Infrastructure
The pace of evolving technology along with the insatiable need for speed and service places a great deal of pressure on hotels. This is the challenge the hospitality industry faces today; designing and implementing updated network infrastructure that contemplates and expects faster and more fully integrated connected devices.
HTNG's Next Generation Infrastructure Workgroup was created to resolve this problem, providing guidance to the industry stakeholders working toward a simplified network design and infrastructure. The group recently published an Executive Summary, and the upcoming technology guide publication will provide hotels guidance to see a reduction in the total cost of ownership over their network's lifetime while improving overall operational efficiency and security.
Additionally, by adopting these ideas, hotels will see reduce required physical space, total costs for construction and ownership, improved operational effciencies and guest experiences, more manageable networks, and unified platforms for securely increased revenues.
