Olivia Klipa serves as Vice President, Conferences and Events at the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
In this role, she oversees the overall planning, management, enhancement, and execution of all AHLA and AHLA Foundation programs, meetings, and special events. She also assists with overall events strategy and future growth initiatives. Olivia serves as a key leader within the association, working cross-departmentally and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
Olivia has more than ten years of experience in event management and execution, much of it centered in the hospitality industry. Previously, she worked at The Webster Group where she served several clients, including The American Red Cross, Operation Smile, Points of Light, The U.S. Trade and Development Agency, and The Children’s National Hospital.
Olivia is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she was a four-year member of the varsity women’s rowing team. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.
