Even though his career in hospitality started a far cry from the world of technology—he was a dishwasher in high school—Matt has a strong talent for leveraging technology to transform companies and enable compelling business outcomes.

Matt is responsible for all aspects of IT at Sage Hospitality, including applications, infrastructure, business intelligence, project management, and cyber security. Matt focuses on thwarting cyber-attacks, enhancing their CRM database, and investigating ways to leverage Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Machine Learning, Generative AI, robotics, facial recognition, voice assistants) to improve associate productivity and the guest experience. In addition to his technology leadership, Matt also oversees the marketing team, ensuring a strategic approach to brand storytelling and digital innovation. He also serves on the Audit and Risk Management Committee of our Board of Directors.
