AI in hospitality isn't arriving on a smooth curve. It's arriving on a jagged frontier — extraordinarily capable in some places, surprisingly brittle in others — and the operators who thrive will be the ones who learn where the edges are before they fall off them.

This session explores what happens when we hand the network controls to AI: autonomous agents that sense degradation, draft investment proposals, and close operational loops without waiting for a human to notice. The upside is real — self-driving network intelligence that turns gut-feeling capital decisions into data-backed business cases, built on frameworks like HEM, the Guest Friction Index, and ML propensity models that predict failures before guests feel them.

But there's a waterbed problem. Fix one lump with AI and another may appear somewhere you weren't watching. Agentic systems that act autonomously within governance rules still need someone to write the rules — and in hospitality, we're still figuring out what those rules should be.

This is a session for cautious experimenters: operators, technologists, and strategists who believe AI changes everything, but want to understand the topology of the frontier before they commit the capital. Come ready to question the hype, stress-test the frameworks, and leave with something more valuable than enthusiasm — a clearer map of where AI delivers, where it disappoints, and how to tell the difference.
