(Dec. 2, 2025) – The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) today announced it will convene its series of high-value regional events in 2026, which will create networking and educational opportunities for hoteliers and hospitality industry participants in top markets across the U.S.

[November 20, 2025] — Rosanna Maietta, President and CEO of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), today testified before the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade to emphasize the central role hotels play in the U.S. economy. Maietta urged action on key policy issues that will shape the future of American travel and tourism – particularly as the nation prepares to host global events like the World Cup, America 250, and the 2028 Olympic Games.

(November 12, 2025) -- Today, leaders from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), Airlines for America (A4A), U.S. Travel Association, and the National Restaurant Association pressed the U.S. House of Representatives to immediately vote on the Senate-passed agreement to end the government shutdown.

Joe Ritchie serves as the Senior Vice President of Financial Operations for AHLA. In this role, Joe provides lead financial support and oversights to AHLA and its related entities. Working closely with AHLA’s Senior Leadership Team and Board.

The honor recognizes exemplary leaders who advance positive societal change across the lodging industry and the communities it serves.

For the past decade, Horton has served as Chief of Staff to U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA).
