Hear What Our Members Have to Say
"The American Hotel & Lodging Association has played such a vital and irreplaceable role in strengthening the entire hotel industry throughout the local, state, regional, and national levels for every single vertical within our space. Through its endless advocacy efforts, broad educational offerings, and consistent collaboration across all of its members, AHLA ensures that the voices of hoteliers like me are heard on critical issues ranging from workforce development and regulatory reform to sustainability and public safety. At the local and state levels, AHLA has supported me by addressing region-specific challenges and fostering meaningful industry and political partnerships, while its national leadership provides a unified voice that advances policies benefiting hospitality across the country. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of serving on and leading seven different AHLA committees, experiences that have allowed me to actively participate in shaping our industry while continuing to grow as a leader. Most importantly, AHLA has positively changed the trajectory of my career by creating opportunities to network with industry leaders, expand my knowledge, and contribute in meaningful ways. Through this involvement, I have grown both professionally and personally, and I have seen firsthand how AHLA helps build a resilient, informed, and forward-looking hospitality industry that supports local communities and drives economic growth."
