If unsure who your designated Company Manager is, Email Hotelier Membership.

AHLA dues for ownership companies are based on the number of rooms in an organization's portfolio, the chain scale of the rooms, and the relationship to those rooms (either owned or managed). Owners pay for all of their properties to join AHLA membership in order to be considered an active corporate member and the dues are calculated based on the grid below.

Economy

$3/room

Standard (Midscale to Upscale chain scales)

$4.50/room

Luxury (Luxury/Upper Upscale chain scales)

$5/room

Independent

$4.50/room

For companies that have also have a third-party managed portfolio, that portfolio will have a dues rate of $2/room per managed room.

Management Companies are charged based on the total number of managed rooms in their portfolio at the rate of $2 per room. These dues are for the management company to become a corporate member, and are separate from the dues the properties pay to become members themselves.

Hotel Brands are charged based on the total number of rooms in their portfolio at the rate of 50 cents per room. These dues are for the brand to become a corporate member, and are separate from the dues the properties pay to become members themselves.

While most branded properties opt to pay through their brand, branded properties can also pay their dues directly. AHLA dues for branded properties is based on their room count and chain scale.

The dues are calculated using this grid:

Economy

$3/room

Standard (Midscale to Upscale chain scales)

$4.50/room

Luxury (Luxury/Upper Upscale chain scales)

$5/room

Independent

$4.50/room

Some state and local associations offer membership in their association and AHLA; if you are in one of the following locations, please reach out to the state or local association to join:

If you are in an area other than those listed above, independent hotel dues are $4.50/room for an annual membership based on anniversary date. Please email Travis Mckie for more information.
